Thief Turns Varanasi Bike Showroom Into Lounge Before Riding Off on KTM
A man broke into a motorcycle showroom in Varanasi, spent hours inside enjoying its amenities, and left around 4 a.m. with a KTM Adventure 390 S.
Surveillance video shows a burglar entering a motorcycle showroom in Varanasi’s Manduadih district just before midnight by cutting the glass door. Over the next four and a half hours he treated the premises like a hotel suite, sitting in a chair, sipping chilled water, brewing coffee, using the restroom, taking a bath, changing into a store T-shirt and a makeshift lungi, and dancing to music. Around 4 a.m. he finally chose a KTM Adventure 390 S and rode away, taking a few accessories with him.
The incident came to light when a security guard noticed the damaged entrance and alerted the manager. An FIR has been lodged at Manduadih police station, and the SHO, Ajay Raj Verma, has issued the suspect’s photograph to all stations while police trace his mobile network.
