Thieves steal over 800 barrels of Guinness from Cheshire depot

Around 800 barrels containing roughly 70,400 pints of Guinness were removed from Diageo's packaging warehouse on Aston Lane in Runcorn. Two HGV trailers were used, with one leaving toward the Mersey Gateway bridge and the other heading toward Rainhill and Watkinson Way. Detectives are seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage to identify the drivers, described as a bearded man in a beanie and another wearing a cap. The total estimated loss, including the trailers, is about £205,000.
