Third Annual Panther Classic Girls Soccer Tournament Returns to Evansville

The Panther Classic returns to Evansville's Goebel Sports Complex for its third edition, drawing 18 varsity girls soccer teams from Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. Eight of the participants appear in the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association rankings, and five rank among the top 18 in Class 3A, alongside four recent state semifinalists. Reitz coach Trey McClain explained that the tournament was created to give local teams a chance to face elite regional competition, a vision now evident in the lineup.

Most matches are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, with a single Thursday game, and ticket pricing includes $20 weekend passes, $10 single-game tickets, $5 student tickets and free admission for fans ten and under. The event highlights several high-profile programs such as Central Hardin, Collierville and Lexington Catholic, and lists standout players from each school.
