Third murder charge filed in fatal Brent Civic Centre stabbing of teen
A third murder charge has been added to the case of a 17-year-old who was fatally stabbed at Brent Civic Centre, bringing the total to three suspects.
David Wynter, 17, died after being attacked around 14:30 BST on 25 August at Engineers Way near Brent Civic Centre in Wembley. Police initially charged a 15-year-old with murder two days after the incident. On Saturday, authorities added two more suspects—a 17-year-old and 18-year-old Jahquarn St Hillaire—who face murder and offensive-weapon charges.
Additionally, 20-year-old Diego Farquharson of Birchen Grove, Brent, has been charged with assisting an offender. The 15-year-old remains remanded and is scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey on 24 September, while the other two youths will be before Willesden Magistrates' Court on Monday. The Metropolitan Police continue to support Wynter’s family, maintain an ongoing investigation, and have deployed extra patrols in the area, urging anyone with information or footage to come forward.
