Thousands gather on Amsterdam's Dam for climate march toward Museumplein

Participants carried banners and protest signs, many referencing the heat records of the previous summer. Flags from groups such as Extinction Rebellion and Palestinian symbols were also displayed. The march is organized by the Klimaatcrisis Coalitie, a coalition of environmental and civic groups. The route passes the Dam, Rokin, Muntplein and Vijzelstraat before ending at the Museumplein.
