Thousands of Santander customers report login failures as service goes offline

A surge of trouble reports surfaced just before noon, with more than 2,800 people indicating issues on the bank’s digital platforms via Downdetector. Several customers posted comments saying they were unable to log in on both the app and desktop, and that the online chat feature also appeared broken. The problem appears to be affecting a sizable portion of Santander’s online user base.
