Three family members arrested in Huelva after fatal clan shooting in Isla Cristina
Guardia Civil detained three men from the same family in Huelva, suspected of the Isla Cristina shooting that killed a pregnant woman, her mother and a 16-year-old boy.
In a coordinated operation, the Guardia Civil captured three male relatives in Huelva after conducting five simultaneous home searches authorized by a judge. Over 80 officers, including the Special Intervention Unit, Rapid Action Group, a helicopter, and canine teams, participated in the raids. The search yielded a gun, cash, about twenty mobile phones, protective vests, a taser and paperwork that investigators say ties the men to the Isla Cristina massacre.
The victims were a pregnant woman, her mother and an unrelated 16-year-old boy, all shot dead in a gang-related revenge attack. The suspects, aged 24-36, remain in civil guard detention and are charged with four murders—counting the unborn child as a victim—and with membership in a criminal organization. The case is being forwarded to the Tribunal de Instancia in Ayamonte, which has kept the proceedings confidential while authorities consider further arrests.
