Three large cargo ships collide near Ålesund, two require docking

Three sizable cargo vessels collided off Ålesund without any reported injuries. Two of the ships are heading for a dock, one of which is taking on water.

A collision involving three cargo ships occurred near Ålesund, and no persons were reported hurt. The vessels, each weighing about 2,000-2,500 gross tons, sustained damage that forced two of them to seek a berth. One of those ships is experiencing water ingress. All emergency services, including the main rescue centre, were on scene to manage the incident.
