Dania Beach, positioned between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, features the brackish Whiskey Creek for kayaking, a pier with the Quarterdeck restaurant, and gentle Atlantic surf. In Sarasota, Lido Key Beach mirrors the white-sand appeal of nearby Siesta Key without the bustle, offering family-friendly ambience, sunset vistas over the Gulf, guided mangrove kayak tours and jet-ski rentals. About an hour and a half north of Daytona, Villano Beach near St. Augustine is a small, locally frequented Atlantic stretch with only about 30 parking spots, ample sand for setting up umbrellas, and nearby dining at The Reef or Aunt Kate’s.
