Three London sisters who died at Brighton Beach had visited their mother's lake two days earlier

Authorities pronounced three London sisters dead at Brighton Beach, describing the event as a "tragic incident." A separate probe uncovered that, in the 48 hours before their bodies were discovered, the trio visited Brookvale Lake, the site where their mother Janice Adetoro drowned 16 years earlier, and tended to her grave. Their 33-year-old cousin, Natalie Walters-Daniel, suggested the timing indicated a meaningful connection, especially since the sisters did not reach out to other family members living nearby.

Walters-Daniel recalled the lasting impact of their mother's death on the girls' upbringing and hopes the upcoming inquest will shed light on the circumstances. Their mother had struggled with mental health issues for at least two years before her disappearance. The inquest is set for next month.
