Three men arrested in connection with Oslo apartment shooting
Oslo police have detained three men, all in their twenties and previously known to authorities, for involvement in a recent shooting at a Kværnerbyen apartment.
In a large-scale operation, Oslo police apprehended three men, each in their twenties and already on the force’s radar, for their alleged role in a shooting targeting a residential unit in Kværnerbyen. The arrests occurred at three distinct sites in the eastern part of the country and were carried out jointly by Oslo and Øst police districts. Each suspect is charged with severe threats and unlawful firearm handling, and they are likely to be presented for pre-trial detention shortly.
Earlier, the district had detained two individuals suspected of issuing grave threats against the same victims. Additionally, three people were arrested after a shooting at a house in Sand near Jessheim, which investigators say is connected to the Oslo incident. Authorities are now focusing on uncovering the organizers behind these coordinated attacks.
