Three teens charged after alleged group assault of 17-year-old in Sydney's south-west

Three 17-year-old boys were charged following the alleged assault of a 17-year-old girl at a home in Sydney’s south-west.

Over the weekend, a 17-year-old girl was reportedly assaulted by a group of three 17-year-old boys at a house in Sydney’s south-west, specifically in the Macarthur region. Police conducted search warrants at several homes early Wednesday, confiscating electronic devices for analysis. The suspects were detained at Camden Police Station and charged with a range of offences, including multiple counts of aggravated sexual assault in company, sexual intercourse without consent and common assault.

One boy faces eleven charges, another eight, and the third two. None of the three were granted bail, and they are due to appear before the children’s court on Thursday.
