Three Uttar Pradesh candidates vie for CEO role of Ram Temple trust

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has reduced its pool of applicants for the chief executive position to three individuals, each originating from Uttar Pradesh. The shortlist was compiled after a technology-driven recruitment drive that began with 5,585 applications and involved multiple screening stages, including in-person meetings with 16 finalists in Ayodhya. The selection panel, led by retired Supreme Court judge Pramod Kohli alongside Lt Gen Vishnu Kant Chaturvedi and former nuclear scientist Suresh Haware, confirmed that none of the candidates are former bureaucrats or police officers, though one is a retired military officer.

Trust members expressed confidence in the candidates' leadership and management credentials. A meeting at the residence of trust president Nritya Gopal Das in Lucknow will determine the final appointment and remuneration package. The appointed CEO will manage pilgrim services, coordinate major religious events, and liaise with government agencies.
