At a municipal kindergarten in Jedlicz, a first-aid education program led by staff and students of the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Krosno involved a demonstration with a teaching ambulance. During the outdoor portion of the lesson, the ambulance struck a three-year-old child, causing severe head injuries. Emergency responders provided immediate care before transporting the boy to a clinical hospital in Rzeszów, where he later died.
