Toddler killed after car entered driveway on Auburn's Normanby Road

A three-year-old girl died when a vehicle, thought to be turning into a driveway, struck her on Normanby Road in Auburn around 2 pm.

The child was rushed to Westmead Hospital in critical condition but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The 27-year-old driver was taken to Auburn Hospital for mandatory testing. Police established a crime scene and remain on site as investigations continue.
