Tom Savini's childhood home in Pittsburgh catches fire, family unharmed

Pittsburgh firefighters arrived promptly, deploying ladders and battling thick black smoke as the blaze threatened the 79-year-old building. A bystander was observed breaking down in tears while crews worked to protect the structure.
Savini and his wife, Jodii, were rescued unharmed, and the fire was brought under control before the entire house was destroyed.
