Top Glove FY26 profit more than doubles as margins rebound

Top Glove Corp Bhd reported net profit of RM307.96 million for FY26, up from RM105.33 million in FY25, driven by higher demand and margin recovery.

Top Glove Corp Bhd posted a net profit of RM307.96 million for the financial year ended 31 August 2026, more than double the RM105.33 million earned in the prior year, as global glove demand rebounded. Revenue climbed 21.1% year-on-year to RM4.23 billion, supported by a tighter raw-material market amid the Middle East crisis, which enabled cost pass-through. The company credited ongoing process automation and cost-optimisation initiatives for mitigating manpower constraints and enhancing margins.

Its net cash position rose to RM141 million and debt fell to RM267 million, improving financial flexibility. For the fourth quarter, profit surged to RM157.63 million on revenue of RM1.25 billion. Top Glove declared a tax-exempt final dividend of 1.5 sen per share, a 213% increase over FY25, and highlighted continued investment in AI and energy-efficiency projects to protect margins against rising input costs.

Why it matters

The earnings surge shows Top Glove's resilience and signals stronger profitability for a key supplier in global health and industrial markets.
