Top Indian politicians gather at Delhi reception for Supriya Sule's daughter's wedding

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leaders Sonia and Rahul Gandhi and other senior politicians attended the Delhi reception celebrating the marriage of Supriya Sule's daughter.

In a rare display of cross-party camaraderie, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Sharad Pawar and Congress stalwarts Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi attended the Delhi reception for Supriya Sule's daughter Revati, who married Nagpur-based industrialist Sarang Lakhani. The gathering at 6 Janpath followed the couple's June wedding in Mumbai and featured a stage appearance where Amit Shah presented a bouquet after a traditional namaste.

Other notable guests included RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Union ministers Hardeep Singh Puri, Chirag Paswan, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Ramdas Athawale and Giriraj Singh, as well as Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, who shook hands with Sonia Gandhi. The event also saw appearances by external affairs minister S Jaishankar, MP Deepender Hooda, IOA president PT Usha and former minister Smriti Irani, underscoring the broad political representation at the celebration.
