Topo Chico mineral water begins returning to shelves after months of shortage

Topo Chico is slowly reappearing in stores, starting with Texas retailers, after a prolonged nationwide shortage.

After a months-long nationwide shortage, Topo Chico mineral water is gradually returning to retail shelves, beginning with Texas chains such as H-E-B. An H-E-B spokesperson said the product is arriving in limited amounts, and customers have shared photos of the green bottles online, expressing excitement. Reports indicate the supply is also reaching a Sam's Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and fans are hopeful for further expansion to other states like California.

The shortage originated in February when Coca-Cola paused production to upgrade its source and bottling plants in Mexico for safety and quality reasons. During the outage, consumers turned to alternative premium seltzers, highlighting the brand's strong market demand. While availability remains scarce, the first shipments suggest the bottleneck is easing.
