Tornado strikes Pomas in southern France, injuring dozens and wrecking homes

A tornado hit the town of Pomas in the Aude department, damaging roughly 100 houses and leaving dozens injured.

The violent funnel touched down in the foothills of the Pyrenees late Monday afternoon, toppling roofs and wrecking about a hundred residences.
