Toyota revamps Yaris Cross with new safety, hybrid power and upgraded trims
Toyota has refreshed its Yaris Cross B-SUV for the Greek and European markets, adding stronger safety features, a fifth-generation hybrid system and new trim levels.
Toyota’s latest Yaris Cross redesign targets the Greek and broader European B-SUV segment, emphasizing safety, hybrid efficiency, styling and equipment. The model now offers the Hybrid 130 system with 130 hp and optional AWD-i, delivering 0-100 km/h in about 10.7 seconds and fuel consumption between 4.4 and 5.1 l/100 km. Trim levels have been reorganised around the Style and Style Plus variants, with the former gaining sport seats, ambient lighting, wireless smartphone charging and parking sensors, while the latter adds a panoramic roof and extra driver-assist functions.
Safety upgrades include full-LED headlights, auto-folding mirrors and Toyota Safety Sense 3, with higher trims featuring blind-spot monitoring and safe-exit assist. Exterior updates comprise a new honeycomb grille, 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels and new paint options, while interior materials such as SakuraTouch reduce CO₂ emissions during production. The vehicle is built in Valenciennes, France, and is now available for order through Toyota’s official network in Greece.
