Toyota unveils upgraded electric bZ4X Touring with higher power and larger cargo space

Toyota’s latest electric bZ4X receives a comprehensive facelift that includes bigger batteries, reengineered electric motors and a more efficient thermal system, all built on the e-TNGA architecture shared with Subaru. The flagship Touring trim, equipped with all-wheel drive, produces 343 hp and 508 Nm, propelling the over-two-ton vehicle to 100 km/h in approximately 4.5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 180 km/h. Its dimensions—4.69 m long and 2.85 m wheelbase—match those of the Rav4 and Land Cruiser, offering generous rear passenger space and a cargo volume of 669 liters that becomes a near-level floor when seats are folded.

Interior upgrades feature spacious seating, multiple storage compartments and two wireless chargers, while the chassis combines McPherson struts up front with dual-link rear suspension for a comfortable ride on both road and light off-road conditions. Toyota claims an energy consumption of 16.6 kWh per 100 km and supports up to 150 kW fast charging. Prices start at 999 000 CZK for the base model, 1 279 000 CZK for the Touring, and about 1 434 000 CZK for the top all-wheel-drive version.
