Tracy high school football coach arrested after students find recording phone in locker room
Tracy High School's head football coach, Jeffrey Pribble, was taken into custody after a student discovered his cellphone recording in the locker room.
On September 10, student athletes at Tracy High School discovered a cellphone left in their locker room that was actively recording as they changed. The students halted the recording, deleted the footage, and turned the phone over to a teacher. An investigation by school resource officers and detectives traced the device to Jeffrey Pribble, the 48-year-old head football coach.
Following a tip from a parent, Tracy Police Department officers arrived at the school and arrested Pribble the next day. The Tracy Unified School District has suspended him while the case proceeds. Police chief Sekou Millington emphasized the need to protect student safety and privacy, urging anyone with information to contact detectives.
