The incident forced a temporary shutdown of the track for less than four hours, after which trains resumed at reduced speed and faced delays of up to thirty minutes. České dráhy deployed replacement buses between Blansko and Rájce-Jestřebí and rerouted several services, including some fast trains between Česká Třebová and Břeclav and between Brno and Kolín.
