Transport Minister says Zetrix AI still owes RM314 million to government

Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced that Zetrix AI Bhd has not paid the RM314 million it owes the government, and that other payment channels remain available.

Anthony Loke confirmed that Zetrix AI Bhd has yet to make any payment toward the RM314 million outstanding government revenue. He added that the company's suspension as a Road Transport Department collection agent has not interrupted summons payments or related services. Motorists can still use alternatives such as the MyJPJ portal. The statement was made at a press conference following the launch of Phase Three of the Masjid Jamek LRT station upgrade.

Why it matters

The unpaid RM314 million highlights a fiscal shortfall and raises concerns about the reliability of private agents handling government revenue.
