Travelers Crown Princess Cruises Top Megaship Line in 2026 Vote

Condé Nast Traveler’s 2026 Readers' Choice Awards gathered almost 800,000 votes to evaluate cruise lines across several vessel categories. Princess Cruises secured the No. 1 position among megaships, scoring 92.35, largely due to its recent Sun Princess and Star Princess ships that accommodate up to 4,300 guests each. Royal Caribbean International ranked second with an 86.45 score, operating the world’s nine largest cruise vessels that can hold up to 7,600 passengers.

MSC Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line and Norwegian Cruise Line rounded out the top five megaship rankings. For slightly smaller vessels, Virgin Voyages claimed the leading score of 91, with Disney Cruise Line and Holland America Line close behind. Princess Cruises also appeared in the large-ship list, demonstrating strong performance across multiple ship classes.
