Travis Kelce rebuffs fan trying to take his gloves during Chiefs win

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce pushed away a fan who reached for his catching gloves during the team's 31-10 victory over Denver.

In the opening game of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Denver Broncos 31-10, and tight end Travis Kelce became the focus of a brief altercation. After taking off his catching gloves in the locker-room corridor, Kelce greeted fans with high-fives, but a fan tried to snatch a glove, leading Kelce to push the hand away forcefully. The incident was filmed and showed the fan looking down as Kelce stared up.

Kelce contributed three catches for 71 yards, moving him into second place on the franchise’s all-time receiving list. Taylor Swift watched the game from a private suite next to Tom Cruise, and Kelce’s brother Jason Kelce was also mentioned for a past fan confrontation. The moment added a flash of drama to an otherwise dominant performance by the Chiefs.
