Trent posts 23% revenue jump in Q2 FY27, shares hit 10% upper circuit

Trent announced a 23% year-on-year increase in Q2 FY27 revenue, reaching Rs 5,788 crore, while overall H1 FY27 revenue grew 21% to Rs 11,454 crore. The company celebrated the launch of its 1,000th Zudio store, bringing its total store count to 1,342 across Westside, Zudio and other lifestyle brands as of September 30, 2026. Net additions during the quarter included 10 Westside and 17 Zudio outlets.
Global broker BofA Securities began covering Trent with a Buy recommendation and set a target price of Rs 3,075, highlighting the retailer's differentiated platform, supply-chain integration and the large untapped share of India's fashion market. Despite a year-to-date share decline of about 10%, analysts see ample room for market-share expansion. The report notes that Trent holds roughly 2% of the national fashion retail segment, suggesting significant growth opportunities.
