True Brit Entertainment enters administration after three years in the UK market
True Brit Entertainment, a UK film distributor founded in 2023, has been placed into administration due to extremely challenging market conditions.
True Brit Entertainment, established in 2023 by industry veteran Zygi Kamasa, specialised in acquiring UK distribution rights for high-profile cinema releases, including the newly released Hugh Jackman title The Death of Robin Hood. The firm also participated in co-financing and co-producing numerous British film and television projects, supported financially by talent-management group Three Six Zero. At the end of September, the company announced it would enter administration, citing extremely challenging market conditions, and administrators were appointed in early October.
Lloyd Hinton and Kelly Knight of Insolve Plus Ltd were appointed joint liquidators, according to The Gazette. Kamasa said that the move was intended to secure the most favourable outcome for the business and its creditors amid a difficult market landscape.
