Tucson police investigate fatal gay‑bar shooting as possible hate crime

A shooting outside the Venture‑N bar in Tucson left three men dead, including two patrons, Vincent Anthony Siqueiros, 42, and Cameron Davis Capara, 33, and the suspected shooter, 44‑year‑old Ousman Ceesay, who died at a hospital. Police found a handwritten list of LGBTQIA+‑focused businesses on Ceesay, leading them to treat the homicide as a possible hate crime. Chief Monica Prieto said bias‑motivated crimes have no place in the community and that investigators are pursuing all leads. The department has increased its presence around other LGBTQIA+ venues, though no ongoing threat has been identified.
