Turkey boosts defence budget dramatically, focusing on domestic arms production
Turkey announced a major increase in its defence budget, with most of the rise earmarked for home-grown weapons manufacturing.
Vice-President Cevdet Yilmaz unveiled a defence spending plan that more than triples the previous allocation.
