Turkish studio launches AI-crafted drama 'Castle Walls' on Prime Video worldwide

Ay Yapim, a leading Turkish production house, has released 'Castle Walls' on Prime Video, a three-part, 15-minute historical drama centered on the legendary Alamut Castle in present-day Iran. Developed by the company’s new Singapore subsidiary, AI Yapim, the series was built entirely with artificial intelligence tools, including an in-house storyboard system and the AYDNA video diffusion model trained exclusively on Ay Yapim’s licensed content.

Human writers Kerem Deren and Çisil Hazal Tenim crafted the narrative, and while AI assisted visual and technical creation, all acting performances and multilingual dubbing were provided by real voice artists. The production showcases a blend of AI technologies such as MidJourney, Runway, ElevenLabs and others, highlighting the studio’s claim that AI now amplifies rather than replaces human creativity. Ay Yapim, known for internationally acclaimed series, also leads the Turkish chapter of the World AI Film Festival and partners with the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences on AI education. The launch positions 'Castle Walls' as a milestone in AI-driven storytelling on a major streaming service.
