Two additional arrests raise total to eight after fatal Leopardstown clash

Gardaí responded to reports of a large-scale altercation at South County Business Park in Leopardstown, south County Dublin, on the evening of 29 August. The confrontation injured three men and, on 1 September, 24-year-old Siminic Rostas died at Beaumont Hospital. Investigators have now taken two further individuals into custody—a late-teenager who has been charged and is scheduled to appear before the District Court, and a man in his 40s detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

These arrests bring the total number of people held in connection with the incident to eight. Previously, three men in their 20s were charged and have already appeared in court, while three additional males were arrested and subsequently released. The Garda Press Office confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing.
