Two attempted murders investigated after early-morning bar fights in Vantaa

Authorities are examining two serious assaults in Vantaa, both charged as attempted murder. The first attack happened around 5:30 a.m. in Martinlaakso, where a 37-year-old male was stabbed amid a clash between two male groups; police located a suspect in his twenties in Helsinki two days later. The second assault occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. in Koivukylä, after a dispute that began inside a restaurant and continued outside, leaving the victim with injuries requiring hospital treatment; a suspect, also a man in his forties, was apprehended the next day. Both alleged perpetrators have been detained by the Eastern Uusimaa District Court.
