Two fatal quad accidents reported in Loire region on Sunday
Two people in their fifties died in separate quad accidents in the Loire department on Sunday, one near La-Valla-en-Gier and another in Saint-Romain-le-Puy after a collision with a car.
On Sunday morning, emergency crews responded to two fatal quad incidents in the Loire region. The first occurred in a hard-to-reach area of the Parc naturel régional du Pilat near La-Valla-en-Gier, where the victim was already in cardiorespiratory arrest when rescuers arrived. The second crash happened on a departmental road in Saint-Romain-le-Puy, about thirty kilometres from Saint-Étienne, when a 51-year-old rider collided with a car, resulting in his death. Both incidents involved riders in their fifties.
