Two killed, eleven injured in early-morning shooting on Trenton’s Locust Street
A late-night gunfire incident at a row house on Locust Street in Trenton, New Jersey left two people dead and eleven wounded.
Around 12:25 a.m., Trenton Police responded to emergency calls about gunfire at a row house located at 194 Locust Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple individuals suffering from gunshot wounds, including two who were pronounced dead at the scene. The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Task Force is now leading the investigation into the shooting.
Eleven other victims were taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where they received medical care for their injuries. Authorities have not released further details about a possible motive or suspect. The incident adds to concerns about gun violence in the New Jersey capital.
