A Cessna 172 carrying two licensed pilots crashed near Kisbey, Saskatchewan, killing both occupants.
Two licensed pilots died when a Cessna 172 registered to Harv's Air went down near Kisbey, Saskatchewan, during a night flight from Regina to Steinbach, Manitoba, via Carlyle. The plane was reported overdue at 10:30 a.m. CDT, prompting a coordinated response by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Trenton. A CC-138 Hercules from 435 Squadron located the crash site around 6 p.m. CDT and deployed rescue technicians by parachute.
Both occupants were found dead at the scene. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada, together with Transport Canada and the RCMP, is now investigating the cause. This crash marks the third serious incident involving Harv's Air since January 2025.
