Two schoolgirls killed and another seriously hurt in Tambun road crash

A motorcycle collision in Taman Perpaduan Ria, Tambun killed two female students and left a third, a 12-year-old, seriously injured.

At around 7.22 am, a Yamaha EZ115 ridden by three female students collided with a Proton Saga in Taman Perpaduan Ria, Tambun. Tambun Fire and Rescue Station received the call, and the Perak Fire and Rescue Department Operations Division assisted the response. Health Ministry personnel declared two of the girls dead at the crash site, and a 12-year-old student suffered serious injuries, receiving a cervical collar from Emergency Medical Rescue Services before being transported to hospital.

Police took custody of the deceased students' bodies. The emergency operation, involving three firefighters and an EMRS vehicle, wrapped up at 8.33 am.
