Two separate crashes on Czech highways leave one driver dead and another seriously injured
A collision on the D10 near km 42 killed a 20-year-old driver, while a later crash near Přerov left the driver of another car seriously injured.
Around 5:45 a.m. on the D10 heading toward Prague, a car entered a closed construction zone and struck a stationary machine, resulting in the driver’s death. The vehicle’s passenger was taken to hospital with severe injuries. A second accident occurred near Přerov on the Labem road toward Císařská Kuchyně; the driver died under still-unknown circumstances, and police are investigating both incidents.
