Two suspects charged after 49ers defender Keion White shot at Super Bowl party
Police have charged Gregory Walker and Curtis Green in connection with the shooting of San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White during a Super Bowl-night gathering.
San Francisco police arrested Gregory Walker, 36, of Mountain House, charging him with assault with a firearm and several felon-in-possession offenses after he allegedly shot 49ers defensive lineman Keion White in the ankle at a Super Bowl party on February 9. Curtis Green, 35, of Irvine, was charged with misdemeanor weapons violations for brandishing a gun at the same event. The shooting followed a dispute between White, rapper Lil Baby’s entourage and other guests in the VIP section of the Dahlia Lounge in the Mission District.
Operation D-Line, a multi-state probe involving more than 250 officers, also resulted in the arrest of Marquis Davis in Atlanta, where nearly 1 kg of cocaine, MDMA, meth and fentanyl were found, and Antoine Washington in Stockton, whose home yielded a loaded firearm and oxycodone pills. San Francisco Police Chief Derrick Lew said the department devoted significant resources to hold those responsible accountable. White, who posted a photo from his hospital room, said he is recovering and remains optimistic about the upcoming season.
