Police were alerted to a series of gunshots at approximately 3:10 pm on Wednesday in Malaga's Palma-Palmilla district, where a dispute between two families escalated into a shootout. The National Police’s prevention and response unit (UPR) quickly secured the scene, gathering roughly ten spent bullet casings and locating two firearms, which were seized. Two men suspected of involvement were arrested on the spot.
The violent crime unit of the Malaga provincial police station has opened an investigation to determine the cause of the confrontation and assign responsibility. Despite the volume of fire, no injuries were reported. The case remains open as authorities continue their inquiry.
