Two teenage sisters disappear after leaving home in Ampang Jaya
Seventeen-year-old Syasya Qur Aini Zulhazmi and her 16-year-old sister Nur Qistina Fhatanah were reported missing after leaving their Lembah Jaya Utara residence on Sep 26 and Sep 7.
Syazana Qurratu Aini Zulhazmi, 17, and her sister Nur Qistina Fhatanah, 16, vanished after departing their home in Lembah Jaya Utara, Ampang Jaya, on consecutive days. Syazana was last seen at 8 p.m. on Sep 26 after meeting a friend for a meal, while Nur told their mother she would attend a carnival at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Taman Kosas on the morning of Sep 27. Neither sister returned, leading their mother to file a missing-persons report.
Assistant Commissioner Khairul Anuar Khalid disclosed the girls’ heights, weights and complexions, and said the mother suspects a desire for greater freedom motivated their outings. Police have appealed for tips, providing contact numbers for the district headquarters and investigating officer Sergeant Major Afizah Zainal.
