Two Teens Charged with Murder After Fatal Stabbing in Mt Druitt

Police arrested a 13-year-old and a 16-year-old on murder charges following the stabbing death of a man in his 30s on Cleeve Close, Mt Druitt.

Around 9 p.m. on October 9, police were called to Cleeve Close in Mt Druitt after reports of an assault. Officers discovered a man in his 30s suffering multiple stab wounds to his torso; he died at the scene after receiving medical attention. Later that evening, a 13-year-old was arrested and charged with murder, breach of bail, and a separate robbery offense.

Approximately forty minutes afterward, a 16-year-old was apprehended and charged with murder as an accessory after the fact. Both suspects were refused bail and are expected to appear before a children’s court on Monday. Authorities have asked anyone with information or video footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
