Two teens wounded in a shooting on a Queens street

Around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, gunfire broke out near the intersection of 103rd Street and 39th Avenue in the Corona neighborhood of Queens. A 13-year-old boy sustained a gunshot wound to his right arm, while an 18-year-old male was hit in his left ankle. Emergency responders transported both teenagers to Elmhurst Hospital, where they are listed as stable. The NYPD has not identified a suspect or disclosed a motive, and no arrests have been reported. Police also said they do not yet know if the two youths knew each other or were intended targets. The incident remains under investigation.
