Rubio pointed to a new Economic Security Declaration that aims to secure critical-mineral supply chains and highlighted Greece’s emergence as a secure energy hub via the Vertical Gas Corridor, which facilitates increased U.S. gas exports to Europe. Greek officials noted the dialogue’s broadened scope to defense, digital technology, law enforcement and maritime affairs, signing three agreements that deepen bilateral ties. They also referenced Greece’s upcoming term on the U.N. Security Council and its future EU Council presidency, underscoring its role in regional stability.
