UFC fighter Robert Valentin alleges Namo Fazil assaulted him in Thailand

UFC middleweight Robert Valentin has accused Namo Fazil of trying to choke him during a 2023 encounter at a café in Phuket, Thailand. Valentin says he pushed away one of Fazil's friends, after which Fazil allegedly lunged at him and attempted a chokehold, causing Valentin to throw Fazil and break a vase. The café owner, identified as the mother of Fazil's then-girlfriend, warned that police would be called if the situation escalated.

Valentin later shared a video that shows a man threatening someone with a kitchen knife, without naming Fazil as the aggressor. The incident adds to Fazil's recent controversies, including a loss to Kaik Brito on Dana White's Contender Series after a high-profile victory on a Most Valuable Promotions event.
