Ugreen unveils high-price AI-driven smart home hubs and accessories

Ugreen introduced a new line of locally powered AI smart-home hubs, cameras and a speaker at a launch event in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

At a launch in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Ugreen announced its entry into the AI-enabled smart-home market with three local AI hubs: the entry-level HomeAgent HA100, the higher-spec HA100 Pro, and the flagship MasterAgent MA100 powered by Nvidia's Jetson Thor module. The HomeAgent models run on ARM-based SoCs with 16 GB or 32 GB of RAM and deliver up to 205 TOPS of AI performance, while the MasterAgent offers 2,070 TOPS and 128 GB of unified memory.

Pricing begins at $1,799 for the HA100, $5,999 for the HA100 Pro and $20,000 for the MasterAgent, with early-bird discounts reducing each price by half. The ecosystem also includes three SynCare security cameras, a 13.3-inch E-Ink picture frame and a fabric-covered smart speaker, all designed to keep data processing local and encrypted. Compatibility with ONVIF, Matter, Zigbee and Thread allows integration with a broad range of third-party devices, though Home Assistant support is not provided.

Why it matters

The products show a shift toward privacy-focused, locally processed AI for home automation, but their high cost limits widespread adoption.
