UK sex predator Zhenhao Zou may face additional rape charges after new allegations
Prosecutors are reviewing claims that Zhenhao Zou, already serving a life sentence for drugging and assaulting ten women, may be charged with rapes involving seven more victims.
Zhenhao Zou, sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 24 years for drugging and assaulting ten women, may face extra rape charges after the Crown Prosecution Service received a new evidence file. The file includes statements from five women who responded to a police appeal and two additional alleged rapes involving unidentified victims. Police fear Zou could have targeted more than 60 women, though only three of his original ten victims have been publicly identified.
Investigations are also ongoing into alleged assaults that took place in China, with British detectives seeking evidence through formal international channels. Detectives Chief Superintendent Angela Craggs thanked the women who have come forward and urged any other potential victims or witnesses to contact authorities. The decision on whether to bring further charges remains pending.
