Ukraine's foreign ministry issued a protest, describing the accusation as groundless and lacking convincing proof, and denounced Belarus' attempts to portray Kyiv as a threat to its security.
The statement also criticized Belarus for supporting Russia's war of aggression and for using the incident to justify continued assistance to Moscow. Additionally, Andrii Demchenko of Ukraine's State Border Guard Service highlighted Belarus' role in facilitating Russian air attacks on Ukrainian territory. Kyiv called on Minsk to cease spreading false claims, threats, and misinformation that could further destabilize the region.
