Ukraine expands use of unmanned ground robots on front lines
Mechanic known as Chimera is fitting four‑wheel unmanned ground vehicles with explosive payloads in workshops run by Ukraine’s Third Army Corps. The robots are sent to strike Russian dugouts, halt infantry pushes and have been used to seize prisoners. They also deliver ammunition and supplies and evacuate injured fighters. Operators control the vehicles from underground command posts, coordinate with aerial drones and use platforms such as Discord for communication.
